World Basketball Festival

I am just about recovered after a phenomenal, but exhausting, week shooting with Nike for the World Basketball Festival in New York. I worked with the Nike team to photograph one player from each of the 5 countries represented in the tournament.  We created content on each individual athlete and then created a group shot that would represent the event.  The week was great and the 5 players we shot – Kevin Durant from the US, Yi Jian Lian from China, Boris Diaw from France,Carlos Arroyo from Puerto rico and Anderson Verrajao from Brazil – were excited to be a part of the project. While I love the group shot we did, I think my favorite image is the shot below of Kevin Durant.

Drake in NYC

After a great vacation, I came back to the “Lower 48” re-energized and excited about the rest of the summer.  My first big shoot once I was back in town was with Rap Artist, Entertainer, Actor and True Gentleman – Drake.  The shoot was for AT&T – a relatively new client for me.  The AT&T team and Team Epic were both fantastic.  Theres nothing better than a client giving you direction and letting you do what you do best – make pictures. Things went great on the photo end but part of that was due to the fact that Drake was such a great guy.  We had a lot of fun working together and I look forward to working with him on upcoming AT&T projects.
